Model and artist Alysha Grace Marko is a Shore Thang modeling alum. Alysha Grace who is of Italian American and Ukrainian descent, had a love for the performing arts since childhood. Alysha Grace Marko, as per her instagram, has studied the “Oscar winning Bateson technique,” at the Susan Bateson Studio. She has gained significant theatrical acting experience when she had appeared in the play “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea,” by playwright John Patrick Stanley. Grace, who is a New Jersey native is the penultimate New Yorker. According to the biographical sketch on the AMRM Gallery site, Alysha’s career trajectory has seen her go from model, personal trainer, to actress, painter and gallerist. It was in Los Angeles that Alysha had fallen in love with painting. She had then “moved on to become an abstract and figurative artist based in New York City”. For Alysha painting is like “looking in the mirror of painting myself is a way to figure myself out. I like to paint my friends…I’m always with myself, so it’s easy to pick up a mirror and just have a subject and study”. Alysha’s painting and photography has themes of female empowerment. The roster of artists which Alysha Grace Marko’s gallery has featured are Angela China, who was part of ‘’The New Surreal” and the “Warm Thoughts:The Winter Show,” group exhibitions and whose work has been described as dreamlike with imaginative, abstract compositions.
Artist, Renelio Marin and his solo exhibition “The Two Suns: As The World Runs It’s Course,” whose style is described as surreal. Juan Lazaro, whose portrayals of life in Cuba in his vivid painting style has been featured in the Hampton’s pop up exhibit “Musing and Mastering: The Ordinary”. Other artists featured in the same pop up exhibition were Rodrigo Pedrosa’s paintings and sculptures that are described as metaphorical by Metropolitan Magazine. Carlos Rafael Vega Pérez, whose art is surrealistic and dream like. Another contributor to this exhibit is the emerging American, New York based artist Lane Rudder, whose surrealist style art has themes of trauma and healing, as per the Metropolitan Magazine. AMRM NYC gallery also features Alysha Grace’s original artwork and photography. Alysha’s eponymous website, also has a shop called the “AMRM online gallery shop,” which includes her original artwork and that of the gallery’s featured artists, for purchase. The online gallery shop’s description of the AMRM gallery states that it offers “an immersive experience”. The artists whose unique art is available on the AMRM’s gallery online shop are David Richardson, whose contemporary work “Argive,” is notable.
